Install Telegram App on Android

SMS activation and registration
When you open the Telegram app after installing it, the window with the button to start messaging will appear. Tap the Start Messaging button to touch it and release it.
On the subsequent screen, select your country, and Telegram will prompt you to enter your phone number. After entering your phone number and selecting your country, tap the "Done" button in the upper-right corner. This phone number will receive an SMS activation code from Telegram.
Enter the code that Telegram sent to you in an SMS.
Following verification, you will be taken to Telegram's registration screen, where you will be prompted to enter your name. After entering your name, tap Done.
How to Use Telegram on Android?
Add a new Contact
If you are using your phone number for the first time in Telegram and there are no contacts or chat records associated with it, you will need to add new contacts before you can begin messaging.
You can view those contacts in Telegram and begin messaging them if a phone number in your Android phone's contacts list contains one that is associated with a Telegram account. So, if you want to talk to your friends through Telegram, you can ask them to sign up and make sure their phone numbers are in the contacts list on your phone.
On the other hand, you can invite your friends from other apps like WhatsApp to join Telegram. On your Android device, tap the menu button, choose Contacts, tap Invite Friends, and then choose the app you want to invite your friends to.
Sending a message using Telegram
Unlike the majority of instant messaging clients, Telegram Messenger lets you send both standard text messages and files of any kind. These messages are saved in the cloud. Because they are stored in the cloud, normal messages can be synchronized across all of your devices, including your desktops. To start a conversation, select the person you want to talk to by tapping the new message icon in the upper-right corner of Telegram.
How to send photos, videos, and other type of files using Telegram?
Tap the paper clip icon in the chat window's upper right corner. You can attach a photo from Telegram's Gallery or from your phone's camera. Additional attachments include files, locations, videos, and other things.

Changing your profile photo and name in Telegram Settings
Change the profile picture by tapping on it in Settings and following the on-screen instructions. To change your name, tap the pencil icon next to your profile picture.
Changing the language in Telegram messenger
Tap on Language in the settings menu to choose your language. Tap Log Out at the end of the settings page to exit.
