"Nenu Student Sir!" is set in 2020 and revolves around Subbarao, aka Subbu (Ganesh Bellamkonda), a middle-class student, and Sruthi Vasudevan (Avantika Dasani), a popular TickTocker, who study at the same university. Subbu becomes a hustler, taking on multiple jobs to buy his dream smartphone, which he treats like a beloved brother.Sruthi, however, develops an aversion to phones and social media after a ban on her favorite short video app. Subbu gets entangled in a scandal and finds himself at odds with Arjun Vasudevan (Samuthirakani), the city's commissioner. Will love blossom between Subbu and Sruthi, and can Subbu resolve his troubles and reclaim his precious phone?
